ALERT: PQS urgent action to be done ASAP to meet essential Gateway criteria

Pharmacy Quality Scheme (PQS) gateway criterion states that each pharmacy must edit or validate their NHS website entry for their pharmacy and to edit or confirm their Directory of Services (DoS) profile to meet the DoS quality criterion of the Digital enablers domain by 11.59pm on 30th November 2019.
There are still a number of contractors who have not yet met these criteria and are putting their PQS payment at risk if these are not met by 30th November 2019.
NHS website gateway criterion: to meet this, contractors must edit or validate ALL three sections of their NHS website profile – their opening hours (including Bank Holidays up until the end of May 2020); its facilities; and the services provided. Distance selling pharmacies should follow the process outlined on pages 14-16 in the NHS England and NHS Improvement guidance to meet the NHS website gateway criterion.
Directory of Services quality criterion: Contractors are required to edit or confirm the information about their pharmacy is correct on the DoS Profile Updater.
