COVID-19: Testing for community pharmacy staff confirmed in Frimley ICS

Attached is the Frimley ICS procedure for staff testing of key workers. It has been confirmed that Community pharmacy staff are classified as Key Workers in the attached process document and so can access testing if they meet the criteria stated:

“There are clear criteria for swabbing individuals as follows:

• The individual or household members symptomatic with COVID-19 symptoms (has a temperature and/or a new and persistent cough).
• Individuals should be swabbed ideally between day 2 and 4 following initial symptoms. Swabbing results outside of those timeframes may be less accurate”

The CCG will also send out these details using the email addresses that the Medicines Management team have, although they know that some are not the most up to date
