Prospective Parliamentary Candidates visits Community Pharmacy
It was a pleasure to welcome Dame Caroline Dinenage, the Conservative candidate for Gosport, Stubbington, and Lee-on-the-Solent, during her visit to The Village Pharmacy in Stubbington and Brune Pharmacy in Gosport last Friday. Dame Caroline expressed her enthusiasm for the visit, stating:
“It was great to meet the teams at two of our local pharmacies today who are delivering the Government’s Pharmacy First program, in Stubbington and Gosport.
Pharmacy First has already resulted in around 2.5 thousand consultations in Gosport constituency, using the knowledge and skills of our pharmacists to prescribe for 7 common conditions.
It’s a fantastic program and if re-elected I will continue to support our pharmacies delivering this vital service.”
