HIOW ICB Respiratory Medicines Optimisation Network

This network, managed by the HIOW Medicines Optimisation Team, is designed to maintain an updated record of respiratory practitioners across the system.

The medicines optimisation (MO) team is extending the invite to all healthcare professionals with an interest in sustainable respiratory care to connect and collaborate to:

• Share best practice, innovation, and learning in respiratory medicines optimisation.
• Highlight challenges and barriers in delivery
• Exchange ideas and learning
• Inform future priorities and areas of focus for the central team
• Reduce duplication of efforts 
• Discuss prescribing, implementation, and service delivery challenges.
  • Support safe, effective, and sustainable use of respiratory medicines.
  • Inform future medicines optimisation priorities and workstreams.
• Support service improvement and better patient outcomes.
