Hampshire & Isle of Wight LPC - AGM and Annual Report 2020. Levy holiday and reduction announcement

Hampshire & Isle of Wight LPC Annual General Meeting

Dear Pharmacy Contractor (or Authorised Representative)

I am writing to notify you of this year’s Hampshire & Isle of Wight LPC Annual General Meeting which is being held on Thursday 17th September 2020, 13:00hrs to 13:15hrs, via a virtual Zoom meeting. The AGM is timed to coincide with a scheduled LPC meeting and will be a short meeting to enable other formal business to be conducted.

The AGM will follow a standard format adopted by many other LPCs and provides for all Contractors to vote to accept or reject the LPC Accounts by taking into consideration both the postal votes (that we expect most contractors will choose to exercise) and any votes made in person.

At the AGM we will present the LPC’s annual accounts, which will be published on the website in due course, once they become available from the Accountants.

If you do propose to attend the AGM in person please notify the LPC Office at least 48 hours beforehand by emailing skye.white@cpsc.org.uk so that we can send you the necessary Zoom invitation details.

Contractors are invited (and are encouraged) to vote on the accounts. The following form includes the voting information for those who wish to vote by post.

Message to contractors - levy holiday and reduction

To all pharmacy contractors and their teams across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight

In recognition of the extraordinary financial pressures in community pharmacy, exacerbated by the demands of the COVID-19 pandemic, CPSC has examined the changes that we have made recently and can continue for the future, that reduce our expenditure but maintain our performance. Examples of this are our move to virtual meetings for the committee and the replacement of our face to face Academy events with webinars.

As a consequence, I am very pleased to be able to announce that in September there will be a levy holiday of one month. Also, from October, the levy will be reduced as evidence of our commitment to provide the best value service for all our contractors.
