IP Training for Pharmacists

Health Education England are currently working to secure funding for IP training available Autumn 2022
HEE recently shared details around an initial offer of funded Independent Prescribing (IP) courses for eligible pharmacists for Spring 2022 courses.
The response to this has been positive and HEE are working to secure a further round of funded Independent Prescriber training that will be available from Autumn 2022. More information (including eligibility criteria) and how to apply, will be shared when these funds are confirmed.
For those pharmacists who were not in a position to apply for the Spring 2022 offer, prepare to apply for the funded Independent Prescriber training that will be available from Autumn 2022. Elements to consider:
- Which University course?
- Who will be your designated medical practitioner (DMP) or designated prescribing practitioner (DPP)
