Are you a pharmacist working in a community setting?

If you are a community pharmacist, take advantage of fully funded training offered through the Pharmacy Integration Fund, and give your career a boost.

The community pharmacy profession is changing and becoming integrated into the wider NHS healthcare team, with new roles being created. While you will have developed clinical and managerial skills, you may not have had the opportunity to develop the attitudes, skills and behaviours to demonstrate true clinical leadership in your pharmacy

Two key courses are:

Mary Seacole Programme Leadership for community pharmacy

This programme is aimed at pharmacy technicians and pharmacists and will enable you to lead an effective team and really get the best from the people you work with. You will learn how to place patients at the centre of everything you do, driving quality services and exploring new opportunities.

Courses start between August 2018 and March 2019 across: Birmingham • Bristol • Coventry • Dorset • Leeds • Liverpool • London • Manchester • Newcastle • Nottingham • Preston • Reading • Sheffield

Post Registration training for Community Pharmacists

This training will provide you with learning centred around core themes, and clinical learning aligned to NHS England's priorities.

Pharmacists can take a single online module (which may count towards your CPD), or take a range of modules and gain the post graduate certificate. Learning is designed to meet your development needs or interest. Courses start regularly and run until March 2019.

They are delivered and accredited through universities across the country, including: The University of Bath • The University of Exeter • De Montfort University • Keele University • The University of Manchester.
