Temporary change to need for patient consent to enable increased use of eRD
Written by admin on Thursday 18th June 2020
NHS England & NHS Improvement (NHSE&I) has issued a letter to notify of the temporary changes to the need for patient consent to maximise use of the electronic repeat dispensing (eRD) system

Further details are available in the letter sent to GPs, community pharmacists and their commissioners:
Important note: The requirement for patient consent is a temporary one. Please ensure your pharmacy team are aware that this is only suspended until 30th June 2020; at which time the suspension will either be extended or revoked. NHSE&I will then write to us again nearer to that date with a further update. |
