URGENT ACTION REQUIRED: CPAF completion deadline for submission is Sunday 1st July 2018

Written by admin on Wednesday 27th June 2018

We have been contacted by NHS England - South (Wessex) and asked for our assistance to encourage as many pharmacies as possible to complete the CPAF screening questionnaire before the deadline on Sunday.

A targeted PharmOutcomes message has been sent today to all pharmacies that were still showing as incomplete on Friday 22nd June.

It is in the interest of all pharmacies to complete this shorter version questionnaire on time (only 10 questions), as the consequence of not completing will result in the non-compliant pharmacy having to then submit the full CPAF questionnaire later in the year and potentially being subjected to an inspection by the NHS Area team. This is a vastly more time consuming process than this relatively quick screening questionnaire.

The situation up until last Friday was that there were still 110 pharmacies that had not completed the CPAF screening questionnaire.

ACTION FOR THOSE STILL OUTSTANDING:
Please ensure the key person in your pharmacy is made aware of the impending deadline of Sunday 1st July.

For information:
The PSNC website has published a guide which explains the changes and provides clarification on some of the questions. A copy of the full screening questionnaire is also contained. The link is below.

Level 2 is the minimum standard expected to demonstrate general compliance with the terms of service.

All pharmacies should have received a link to complete the screening questionnaire either via email from the NHS Business Services Authority (NHS BSA) or from their own Head Office. A link to the questionnaire, guidance on completing the questionnaire and FAQs are available on the NHS BSA website – link below.
