Pharmacy First

Consultations Provided in June Must be Claimed by 31st July 2025

A reminder that the claim period for Pharmacy First has been reduced to one month and therefore claims for consultations provided in June 2025 must be submitted via the MYS portal by 11:59pm on 31st July 2025

Hypertension Case Finding Service

Blood Pressure Monitoring of patients already diagnosed with Hypertension can only be done with the GP surgery authorisation. Any patients requesting monitoring from the Pharmacy should be directed to their GP surgery or the Pharmacy should seek authorisation from the surgery on the patient’s behalf.

Pharmacy Contraception Service

Take extra care when answering the ‘could you be pregnant’ question. There have been incidents where this question has been ticked as yes in error and has subsequently been recorded at the GP surgery.

All Services

All Services need to be entered onto the IT system within a timely manner. If a Pharmacy is not using an IT system to directly record a consultation, please ensure the consultation details are entered same day/ within 24hrs.
