Delay to mandated in-pharmacy campaign
The start of the national mandated in-pharmacy weight management campaign has been delayed due to issues with delivery of the campaign resource packs. However the campaign has launched in the wider media this week.
The campaign materials for in-pharmacy promotion will be delivered by Yodel between 11th-14th January 2022. If you have not received the campaign materials by the 15th January 2022, email partnerships@phe.gov.uk with ‘Weight Management Pharmacy Packs’ in the subject line and include pharmacy name and address in the email.
The campaign resource pack includes a guidance leaflet to support community pharmacy teams’ conversations with patients and display materials. .
Pharmacies are not required to record the number of people to whom information is provided.
Better Health Adult Obesity aims to motivate and support adults to achieve a healthy weight by eating more healthily and increasing levels of physical activity.
