Services cease on 30th June and require payments claims to be made promptly during July

Isle of Wight CCG is intending to return to business as usual from 1st July 2020 and therefore stop the extended Isle of Wight commissioned community pharmacy services for urgent supply, palliative care and prescription fee re-claim that were put in place in March to help support pharmacies during the COVID-19 peak in demand.

Please submit any claims as soon as you can so that the CCG can finalise the payments during July.

The new Isle of Wight commissioned community pharmacy services for UTIs, Impetigo and Pharmacy First are already live for use on PharmOutcomes.

The new service specifications for Palliative Care and Urgent Supply will also go live via PharmOutcomes 1st July 2020.

All of the new services align with best clinical practice for patient safety, anti-microbial stewardship and national funding models to be more cost-effective for the Isle of Wight healthcare system. They have all been reviewed and approved by CPSC.

Isle of Wight CCG have expressed their many thanks for the additional work and extended service provision provided by community pharmacies over the last few weeks.
