The same webinar is being held on two different dates:
24th January 2023 2pm – 4pm
2nd February 2023 3pm – 5pm
The webinar will also be available as a recording after the first date as we appreciate the webinar is during the normal working day.
DOACS are the most commonly prescribed anticoagulants in England, with nearly 1 million people taking these medicines.
Recent national data has shown that 15% of patients taking DOACs in England may be on the wrong dose in relation to their renal function, putting them at an increased risk of harm
By attending 1 of the 2-hour national webinars you will hear from both national and local experts on:
- The national safety picture around DOACs
- Latest guidance on the dosing and monitoring of DOACs
- Highly reliable approaches that can be applied in primary care to ensure that appropriate monitoring takes place
