Boosting pharmacy technicians’ clinical assessment skills
The Community pharmacy technician: advancing your role programme is designed to support you in delivering and improving effective clinical services.
The programme includes a self-directed e-course, a learning needs analysis, a face-to-face workshop, workplace practice, a two-hour workshop for reflection and optional monthly peer support sessions – all providing you with the opportunity to develop your professional network and establish communities of practice.

The CPPE e-learning programme Pharmacy technicians: using patient group directions in practice and e-learning for health’s Patient group directions are both available now. The CPPE PGD programme provides examples of opportunities to use PGDs in practice, and includes activities designed to empower pharmacy technicians to work under PGDs to increase capacity for person-centred care within the healthcare team.
