New post-registration pharmacist training to strengthen the pharmacy workforce - Early application is essential as spaces on these funded courses will be limited.

Health Education England (HEE) has developed a new training course for community pharmacists to help them make the best use of their skills as part of multidisciplinary NHS teams and ensure patients get the most benefit from taking their medicines.
For more details please see the attached letter below from NHS England South (Wessex)
NHS England South Wessex - Ref 318
Please note:
- The courses are only open to post-registration community pharmacists. All learners will need to assure provider organisations that they meet the course requirements.
- Pharmacists must meet the core criteria for entry onto the course. These are explained on the HEE central web page link
- Pharmacists interested in taking up the fully-funded training will need to contact the course provider directly. All applications will be processed by the chosen university (see links to University courses on the HEE central page)
- The Pharmacy Integration Fund only funds the cost of the university course/module. It does not fund work place costs e.g. supervision or remuneration for time on the course.
- Initial applications should ideally be received before the end of February 2018.
