Growing Island Research Together - Thursday 21st November 2024

We are holding a research celebration event on the Isle of Wight on the 21st November at the Riverside Centre in Newport.

The following Event Brite link can be used to register for a place.

We are hoping to showcase some of the great work going on already on the Island as well as hold interactive sessions focused on working with patients, the public and community groups as well as thinking about what next for research on the Island. We would like to welcome anyone interested in research on the Island to come along.

If you have a project you would like to share at the event we would also welcome you to email us with the title of the project, the presentation format and a very brief summary of the work (1-2 sentences). You could present orally, or via a poster. We are also considering sessions where you can present an idea or in progress project and get feedback from people attending the event. Let us know if you would like to use that option. Please email academy@solent.nhs.uk by Friday the 27th September to let us know if you would like to contribute.

We very much look forward to meeting you at the event, hearing about current work and thinking about growing research together in the future.
