An update on progress
As of this week there are 7 pharmacies in Hampshire & Isle of Wight live providing the IP Pathfinder Pilot.
There are 6 in Hampshire & Isle of Wight ICB area providing consultations and prescribing for oral contraception.
There is 1 in Frimley ICB area providing consultations and prescribing for a range of minor illnesses not covered by Pharmacy First.
The pilot is being run nationally by NHS England with strategic aim of establishing a framework for the future of commissioning of NHS Community Pharmacy Clinical services incorporating independent prescribing for patient in primary care.
