New Fluoroquinolone Patient Information Leaflet

Hampshire & Isle of Wight ICB are asking GP surgeries and Community Pharmacies to consider sharing a new local patient information leaflet (PIL) with patients receiving fluoroquinolone antibiotics.
The leaflet offers clear information on recognising potential side effects and understanding when to seek medical advice, supporting safer use of these medicines.
The antibiotics include:
- Ciprofloxacin
- Levofloxacin
- Ofloxacin
- Moxifloxacin
Having this resource available could benefit patients and enhance their care experience.
