Making Your End of Month Claim for the New Medicine Service (NMS) consultations carried out in April 2025, pharmacies are reminded of the changes to the service’s payment structure that came into effect on 1st April.
The change sees pharmacies paid separately for interventions and for follow ups. If both are completed pharmacies need to claim for two consultations, if only the intervention was completed the pharmacy must claim for one intervention.
An update on claiming for NMS consultations has been published, including the new £14 fee per consultation and how to report and submit claims using the MYS portal.
