New Virtual Outcomes Training Module

This training has been produced to support you with the delivery of the Pharmacy First Service. It provides an overview of conditions to help all the community pharmacy team with providing advice to patients.

• Do you know what a mild viral infection is a common cause of hives in children?
• Do you know what “chicken skin” is and what advice you can give about it?
• Do you know that one individual with measles can infect 15-20 other people?
• Do you know what key symptom may help you differentiate measles from other flu-like illnesses (and it not the rash or Koplik’s spots)?

This online training is provided free of charge to all community pharmacies located in Southampton, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, and Portsmouth. The training has been funded by Community Pharmacy Hampshire & Isle of Wight to help pharmacies meet their requirement to deliver services and support health promotion activities throughout the year.
