Opportunity for Very Brief Advice Stop Smoking Training online via Microsoft Teams for Pharmacies in Hampshire, Southampton & Isle of Wight
Very Brief Advice (VBA) encourages those who come into contact with smokers to confidently ask smoking status, advise on support available locally and act by referral to the Pharmacy based Smokefree Hampshire service.
Department of Health & Socail Care guidance has identified that the systematic delivery of very brief advice (VBA) and referral of smokers are a vital part of ensuring that these individuals access the most effective method of stopping smoking.
Training dates:
- Tuesday 15th February 2022 (9.30am– 12.30pm)
- Wednesday 6th April 2022 (1.30pm - 4.30pm)
Training provided by Smokefree Hampshire for Pharmacy staff in Hampshire, Southampton and Isle of Wight
