ACTION REQUIRED: Free training dates on delivering NHS Health Checks available for Hampshire contractors

The training is available for health check providers within primary care. It is being commissioned by Hampshire County Council and is provided by Unity, a Hampshire-based community service provider.
The training is taking place in locations across Hampshire throughout 2018 and will provide:
- Latest guidance on best practice in delivering health checks
- The rationale for health checks and an overview of cardiovascular disease
- The Results booklet and referral thresholds
- Enabling behaviour change and referring to services for further support
Training can be arranged for a number of staff at one location; if required, and usually runs from 10.00am until 4.30pm. An e-Learning module is sent to each attendee before the event, which must be completed prior to attending the training day.
