Cases of abuse and violence continue to increase across the NHS and particularly across the primary care sectors. Staff and teams continue to go above and beyond to provide the best care possible and equally deserve to be treated with respect and kindness.
The majority of patients understand the pressures everyone is working under and treat colleagues with respect, yet a small minority continue to display unacceptable behaviour.
NHS England have developed posters and social media assets that are now available to download for use in primary care settings to encourage patients to treat NHS staff with respect.
