Be Aware: Baby Milk Scam

CPSC have been made aware of a scam perpetrated against a few pharmacies in Hampshire, Surrey and East Sussex.
The perpetrators phoned the pharmacy and ordered 150 tins of baby milk, saying that they could not get it in sufficient quantity from another pharmacy and said they were moving to Dubai so wanted a large amount.
They placed an order and gave their credit card number over the phone – the transaction went through ok.
The perpetrator sent a courier to collect the baby milk, and straight after collection the credit card payment was cancelled so the pharmacy was not be paid for it.
The incidents has been reported to the police but please be aware.
