Deadline approaching for claiming GP CPCS engagement and set-up payment worth £300

Less than half of Hampshire and Isle of Wight pharmacies have claimed their payment so far

The latest figures from NHS England and NHS Improvement - South East show how many pharmacies have claimed their £300 engagement fee for GP CPCS. The extremely disappointing news is that only 149 of the pharmacies in Hampshire & Isle of Wight have claimed their payment so far. This means that there is still around £60,000 remaining unclaimed by our local contractors.

In the whole South East Region there appears to be around a quarter of a million pounds still unclaimed.

Action required:

If your pharmacy has not claimed the fee already, please be aware of the forthcoming deadline. The activities listed in Annex F of the CPCS service specification must be completed by 30th June 2021.

Payment claims can be made until 11.59pm on 5th July 2021 using the NHS Business Services Authority’s Manage Your Service (MYS) platform. Contractors should keep documented evidence to show that all the activities have been completed for Post Payment Verification purposes.
