A Cost of Living Helpline hosted by the Health and Wellbeing Support Service launches from Monday 3 October 2022 in response to the current crisis affecting so many.
Financial hardship also impacts mental health through stress and worry and this can make it harder to see a way forward, particularly with overwhelming messages and resources. The helpline aims to provide a safe space for staff to receive understanding and practical support in navigating to the most suitable option to help meet their needs, such as national and locals resources, benefits, discounts, referral to local employee assistance services for financial or budgeting advice and more.
