Know Your Numbers Week 2nd – 8th September 2024

Know Your Numbers Week is a health campaign to raise awareness about the importance of checking your blood pressure, especially for those who are aged 40 or over.  Around a third of adults in the UK have high blood pressure which rarely has noticeable symptoms but if untreated, it increases your risk of stroke and heart attack.

Pharmacies can use this campaign to raise awareness and support delivery of the Hypertension Case Finding Service.

A package of communications materials on blood pressure is available on the Campaign Resource Centre. This includes assets from the community pharmacy 'Get your blood pressure checked' campaign to signpost people to the NHS pharmacy blood pressure check service.
