Drugs in Breast Milk
This module has been produced to support pharmacy teams give advice to parents who are breastfeeding.
- Are you aware that WHO recommends that babies are exclusively breastfed until they are 6 months old ?
- Do you understand the role you and your team can play to support breastfeeding mothers?
- Do you know which reputable resources to use to find information about drugs in breast milk?
This online training is provided free of charge to all community pharmacies located in Southampton, Hampshire, Isle of Wight and Portsmouth. The training has been funded by Community Pharmacy South Central to help pharmacies meet their requirement to deliver services and support health promotion activities throughout the year.
