Useful training and information for pharmacists, support staff and parents
Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) is an NHS service that aims to help young people up to the age of 18 who are finding it hard to manage their emotional and psychological health, and who are suffering with acute, chronic and severe mental health problems. In Hampshire this service is provided by Sussex Partnership NHS FT.
Hampshire Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service has created a series of online training modules to help give parents, carers and professionals useful information about a number of subject areas affecting children.
The CAMHS website has a drop-down menu to more than 20 themes, and you can watch a video or podcast. The module length varies from 5 mins to 1hr depending on the topic.
The topics available include eating difficulties, gaming addiction, bullying, autism, mindfulness, anxiety and bereavement – but there are many others.
The modules are free to access and available here.
