Information about the end of the scheme and final payment claims
Pharmacy Collect service will end on the 31st March 2022. At this point, under the Government’s Living with Covid strategy, free mass testing will end.
PSNC, the UKHSA and NHS England and NHS Improvement (NHSE&I) have been working together on the final plans for the end of the service. The UKHSA has produced a checklist for pharmacies to use as a guide to support the ending of the service.
Final payment claims
Pharmacies have until the 30th of April 2022 to submit any claims for payment via MYS for kits distributed up to 31st March 2022. This includes any distributions made in February 2022 that contractors may have been unable to claim at the beginning of March 2022.
Contractor Survey
The service was set up quickly to meet the needs of the population during the pandemic. The UKHSA is keen to reflect on the service and consider what could be done differently should the need for a similar service arise in the future.
To support this, pharmacies and their teams are encouraged to complete a short survey, which provides an opportunity to tell the UKHSA about any ideas or thoughts that pharmacy teams have on how they would improve the service.
The survey will be open until 28th March 2022.
Any questions or queries about the survey, or any other aspects of the service, please contact the Pharmacy Collect Team at pharmacy.collect.queries@dhsc.gov.uk
