Safeguarding Information and Contacts

Community Pharmacies have been sent an email from the ICB Commisioning Hub with an updated list of contacts for any Safeguarding issues as well as the Safeguarding benchmarking self-assessment tool that is used across the NHS and by private health services for many years as a way of strengthening safeguarding structures and practice.

If you don’t already use such a tool, please consider using the tool, below, that has been adapted for the type of service that you provide. The completed tool can be used to help evidence how you meet your safeguarding responsibilities with NHS England or the GPhC. The toolkit is supportive guidance only. There is no need to return it to the ICB or NHS England.
