Showcasing Pharmacy Technician Careers

NHS England South East Pharmacy Team is hosting a virtual event to showcase the diverse, evolving and impactful roles of pharmacy technicians across the South East system. The session will highlight career development, retention, leadership, education and training pathways, and widening participation.

This event is open to pre-registration trainee pharmacy technicians (PTPTs) and Pharmacy Technicians, working within the South East region.

An agenda will follow in the coming weeks. They will be offering a flexible agenda, which allows you to attend sessions of your choice rather than all 4 hours.

Expression of Interest: Share your Pharmacy Technician career at our virtual showcase.

They are inviting Pharmacy Technicians working across any sector (including community pharmacy) to share their career journey and the impact of their role.

They are particularly keen to hear from colleagues who can help bring workforce priorities to life, including career progression and retention, apprenticeships and training pathways, advanced/specialist practice, leadership and supervision, cross-sector working, digital/service transformation, and widening participation.

This could be in the form of a:

• Panel discussion
• Pre-recorded video
• Q&A session
