URGENT ACTION REQUIRED: NHS website validation required

This must be completed to be eligible for Quality Payments. The deadline is Friday 29th June 2018


PSNC has received figures from NHS Digital on the number of contractors who are yet to update their NHS website profiles in line with the requirements of the Quality Payments Scheme.

NHS Digital data up to 22nd July (last Friday)

  • 3,792 contractors will not pass the NHS website gateway criterion unless action is taken.
  • This breaks down as follows:
    • 666 have only validated two sections of their NHS website profile
    • 2,112 have only validated one section of their NHS website profile
    • 1,014 have not validated any sections of their NHS website profile

Contractors will be receiving one or two emails today:

  1. From NHS BSA to all contractors - reminding them to edit and/or validate their profiles
  2. From NHS website to web editor addresses of contractors with profiles which do not have all three sections updated - informing those with ‘incomplete’ profiles that they need to edit and/or validate all three sections. If you receive this 2nd email, you must take immediate action to enable payment.

PSNC will be issuing a news story and email alert to highlight this to contractors once a spreadsheet from NHS BSA with full details of all contractors is shared with them. The spreadsheet will show how many sections of each pharmacies NHS website profiles have been updated and/ or validated.

All contractors are encouraged to check the spreadsheet when shared by PSNC to check their location information and take any required action.

The review point is Friday 29th June 2018 and this action must be completed before this date
