NHS Service Finder allows healthcare professionals to search for health organisations based on location or relevance. It makes it simpler and quicker to find service details such as opening times and phone numbers.
NHS Service Finder was developed by the NHS, for the NHS. It contains accurate information kept continuously updated with information from the Directory of Services. It removes the reliance on old, outdated directories, and individual local knowledge.
You can search the NHS Service Finder by service, location, or keyword. The results will be presented as a list or in a map view so you can see which services are nearby. NHS Service Finder can also provide directions, and these can be shared directly with patients.
The Service Finder now uses multi-factor authentication (MFA). Multi-factor authentication enables log in with a variety of additional authentication methods across multiple systems.
Shared accounts (accounts used by multiple users) will no longer be supported. Users with shared accounts must now create their own account to continue using the service.
To continue to use the service finder, you must create a Care Identity. Read How to migrate your existing Service Finder account information to your Care Identity on the Service Finder help page.
