'Walk In My Shoes'
Following on from the establishment of Primary Care Networks and the announcement of the new GP and Pharmacy Contracts, NHS England South (Wessex) Pharmacy Local Professional Network is inviting all pharmacies and GP practices to participate in a ‘Walk In My Shoes’ project (WIMS). To help familiarise yourself with WIMS we encourage you to attend one of the engagement events being delivered this autumn.

'Walk In My Shoes'
At these events you will have the opportunity to learn more about the WIMS toolkit and network with colleagues. You will get most benefit from attending the meeting that has the greatest relevance to the geography of your PCN but, if that is not possible, please feel to attend elsewhere.
All pharmacies will be required to complete an Expression of Interest form on PharmOutcomes by 30th November 2019. This will include a commitment to provide feedback on any outcomes from engaging with WIMS by 31st March 2020. Each pharmacy that completes the form by 30th November 2019 will be entitled to receive a payment of £150.
We recommend booking early to avoid disappointment and please encourage your colleagues in the local area to come along.
The meeting will commence with hot two course meal at 6:30pm, with the presentation starting at 7:30pm . The event will finish by 9:30pm.
This event is FREE to attend and includes a two course hot meal and refreshments.
