Updated - NHS funding for IT extended until 1st April 2022

 

**NHS funding for CPCS to continue until 1st April 2022**

From 1st April 2022, community pharmacy contractors providing the CPCS will need to procure their own IT support from the range of system suppliers in the market offering CPCS functionality.

Four IT systems have been validated to date as having the capability to receive CPCS messages. PharmOutcomes are currently contracted by NHS England to provide the IT support for the service in Hampshire & Isle of Wight.

Other software systems are in development, but they will need to meet the standards set by NHS England.
